What is an EFT?

NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) is an electronic funds transfer system, which facilitates transfer of funds to other bank accounts across the country. It is widely used by all the largest banks and corporations because it is more efficient and secure than payment by paper cheques.

How to Find Your Bank Account Number?

You can find your bank account number and IFSC within the string of numbers located at the bottom of one of your cheques. The IFSC is an 11-character code with the first four alphabetic characters representing the bank, and the last six characters representing the branch.

Please contact your bank's customer care department if you are unable to locate your bank account number and/or your IFSC.

What is the currency used for payment?

Amazon.locale can only pay you in CUR. Check if your locale is eligible for InternationalEFT visiting this page.

Do I have to inform my Bank about this process?

No, simply update your bank details in your Associates Central Account and we will be able to issue the EFT.

What information is required?

Our online application requires these pieces of information:

1. Bank Name

2. Bank Account Holder Name

3. Bank Account Number

4. IFSC Code

How will I know that I've been paid?

You can always see what Amazon will pay you for the most recent complete month of sales by checking your Earnings Reports under View Reports. You will receive an e-mail message from Amazon for each payment period stating exactly what you are getting paid. You can also view Payment Historyunder your Account Settings for details on your monthly earnings and the date your payments were disbursed.

Will my bank charge me for NEFT payments?

Most banks do not charge for NEFT transfers, but you may want to contact your bank to make sure. Amazon and its bank will not impose any fees for NEFT transfers.

What do I need to do if my bank account information changes?

It is critical that you maintain current and accurate information on your Amazon Associates account. To change your bank information, log into your Amazon Associates account and go to Account Settings. From there you'll be able to enter new bank information.

What if there's a problem making a payment using NEFT

Most problems will be handled directly between Amazon.in and your bank. However, if you notice a problem, please contact us and clearly label the problem as a "Payment" issue. In your e-mail you should include the nature of the problem, but do not include confidential information such as your bank account number, IFSC or your PAN. Don't forget, you must write to us from the e-mail address associated with your Associates account. Please also let us know your Associates ID.

If I sign up for NEFT, can I change back to paper cheque at a later date?

Yes, log into your Amazon Associates account and go to Change your payment method. From there you'll be able to request to be paid via paper cheques at any time.
